Question 1

How does selling my car to a broker work?

Accepted Answer

You fill out the evaluation form in a few minutes, our broker analyzes your file and sends you a no-obligation purchase offer within 24 to 48 hours. If you accept, we arrange the signing and payment — all remotely or in person, as you prefer.

Question 2

Is the evaluation really free and no-obligation?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Receiving an offer commits you to nothing. You can decline or compare with other buyers. No fees are charged for the evaluation.

Question 3

Do I need to clean or repair my vehicle before selling?

Accepted Answer

No. We buy vehicles in their current condition. A simple interior and exterior cleaning is enough for photos, but no repairs are required. Simply state the actual condition in the file.

Question 4

Can I sell a vehicle on behalf of a company or a third party?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If the vehicle belongs to a company or you are acting for a third party, we will ask for documents proving your authority (power of attorney, corporate resolution, etc.). Mention it in the file notes.

Question 5

How and when will I be paid?

Accepted Answer

Payment is made by certified transfer upon signing of the sale. No clearing delay: funds are available in your account according to your institution's usual timelines, generally the same day.

Question 6

Is the payment secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The transfer is made by a Canadian financial institution, with written confirmation. You receive proof of payment before handing over the vehicle.

Question 7

Are there hidden fees or commissions?

Accepted Answer

None. The offer amount is the amount you receive. We take no commission on the sale or file fees.

Question 8

Can I be paid in cash?

Accepted Answer

For security and compliance reasons, we prefer certified transfer. We can discuss other secure arrangements depending on your situation.

Question 9

What documents do I need to provide to sell my car?

Accepted Answer

The registration certificate (the "title"), valid proof of insurance, your ID and, if applicable, the financing contract or lien release. The VIN (vehicle identification number) lets us validate the history.

Question 10

What if there is a balance left on my financing?

Accepted Answer

We can pay the creditor (bank or financial institution) directly and pay you the difference if the vehicle's value exceeds the balance. Indicate the creditor and approximate balance in the file.

Question 11

My vehicle has a "rebuilt" or "salvage" title, can I sell it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We evaluate rebuilt or salvage vehicles. The offer will account for the history. State the title status in the file for a fair evaluation.

Question 12

Do I need an SAAQ certificate or an inspection?

Accepted Answer

For most sales, no. Depending on age or mileage, we may request an independent mechanical inspection, at our expense. We will inform you before any step.

Question 13

How long does the whole process take?

Accepted Answer

From submitting the file to payment, expect generally 24 to 48 hours for the offer, then 1 to 3 days to arrange signing and pickup. A sale can thus be settled in under a week.

Question 14

When will I receive my offer?

Accepted Answer

Most offers are sent within 24 to 48 business hours. More complex files (special titles, ongoing financing) may require extra time.

Question 15

Do I need to be present for the vehicle handover?

Accepted Answer

Yes, or an authorized person. Signing and handover happen in person at the agreed location. We can also arrange home pickup in several regions of Quebec.

Question 16

Do you cover all of Quebec?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We buy vehicles all across Quebec, from Montreal to Saguenay, from Quebec City to Gatineau. Pickup arrangements vary by region.
